Tenor Sergey Gavrilov has performed throughout the Turkey and Russia.

Tenor Sergey Gavrilov started his road to the operatic stage only in 2003 after successful appearing as Manrico in "IL TROVATORE" for Ufa Opera, Russia.

Previously, Mr. Gavrilov had a successful career as a pop singer and saxophone player. In 1990 he decided on a career as an opera singer. In 1996 he graduated from the vocal faculty of the St.Petersburg Conservatoire. And after that he improved his perfection of singing. During that time he performed concerts at St. Petersburg's chamber music venues and toured in a cast of vocal ensembles in Europe.

In season 2003 - 2004 Mr. Gavrilov had performed the roles of Vandemaund in "IOLANTA" staged by Irkin Gabitov from Mariinskiy theatre, Lensky in "EUGENE ONEGIN", Manrico in "IL TROVATORE", Alfredo in "LA TRAVIATA" for Ufa Opera, Russia where he started his road to the operatic stage in 2003 after successful appearing as Manrico in "IL TROVATORE".

Mr.Gavrilov's 2004 - 2005 season included performances of Vandemaund in "IOLANTA" new production and Nemorino in "L'ELISIR D'AMORE" of Alexander Petrov the stage director of St.Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie". Appeared in concerts in the St.Petersburg State Philarmony Big Hall with Hermitage orchestra under conductor Fabio Mastrangelo (Italy). Toured over the Russian cities as Perm, Ekaterinburg etc.
As a guest soloist singing Alfredo in "LA TRAVIATA" with Ekaterinburg Opera. And performed the role of Tamino in "DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE" new production of stage director Uwe Shwarts (Germany) on the stage of Ufa Opera.

Highlights of the 2005 - 2006 season included performing in new production of Alexander Petrov of "GIANNI SCHICCHI" with St.Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie" as Rinuccio. As a guest soloist singing Ernesto in "DON PASQUALE" with Siktivkar Opera of Republic Komi.

In October 2006 after successful singing Manrico in "IL TROVATORE", Mersin Opera offered him a position of principal soloist where he performed Alfredo in "LA TRAVIATA", staged by Flavio Trevisan (Italy) and Nemorino in "L'ELISIR D'AMORE". In addition Mr.Gavrilov made his debut with Ankara Opera as Cavaradossi in "TOSCA". And went to Russia for performing Don Ramiro in "LA CENERENTOLA", Vandemaund in "IOLANTA", Rodolfo in "LA BOHEME", Rinuccio in "GIANNI SCHICCHI" with St. Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie".

Highlights of the 2006 - 2007 season included a return to the Ufa Opera as guest soloist singing Ricardo in "UN BALLO IN MASCHERA" and going on tour to Thailand as Tamino in "DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE" with Ufa Opera.
Highlights of the 2007 - 2008 season included Nemorino in "L'ELISIR D'AMORE" with Mersin Opera and Don Ramiro in "LA CENERENTOLA" with St.Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie" and Alfredo in "LA TRAVIATA" staged by Flavio Trevisan with Mersin Opera for Aspendos opera international festival, Turkey.

In the 2008-2009 season Sergey Gavrilov has been performing Almaviva in "IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA", staged by Flavio Trevisan for Mersin Opera, Turkey and return to Russia for singing Don Ramiro in "LA CENERENTOLA" with St.Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie", Hermitage theatre and Mariinskiy theatre.

Future engagements see him as Rodolfo in "LA BOHEME" and Ernesto in "DON PASQUALE" with Mersin Opera, Turkey and as Lindoro in "LA ITALIANA IN ALGERI" with St.Petersburg Opera "Zazerkalie", Russia.
